Kirke Wrench has over 25 years of hotel finance, development and operations experience.  Currently he provides consulting services to investors, lenders, owners and others in the hospitality industry.  As the senior financial executive with a fast growing entrepreneurial hotel company for over 19 years, Mr. Wrench developed a hands-on knowledge of and a passion for the acquisition, renovation, construction, financing, and ownership of hotels.  His broad business understanding combined with his financial savvy has resulted in a versatile style with the ability to move easily from hands-on routine matters to high level strategic thinking. 

Kirke Wrench served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group LLC from 1986 through 2005. As CFO, he was responsible for supervising and performing a full range of financial and accounting services for the development and operating phases of the company’s hotel and restaurant operations as well as its numerous affiliates.  He played an integral part in the growth of the organization that grew from 5 hotels to over 40 hotels and from approximately $23 million in consolidated revenues to over $443 million during his tenure. 

In addition, Mr. Wrench was responsible for securing over $700 million in debt financing (over 50 individual loans) and assisted the company’s founder Bill Kimpton (deceased) and the subsequent management team in raising approximately $400 million in equity for the acquisition of over 25 Kimpton-affiliated hotel partnerships.  During Mr. Wrench’s career the Kimpton Group became known for acquiring, managing and converting under-performing hotels and other buildings to profitable Kimpton-branded hotels.
